What’s On at Our Venues

Looking for something to spice up your Friday night? Or perhaps a day out with the kids? Witney Town Council hosts a variety of events of its own, and third-party events year-round in its community venues.

D-Day Commemorations – Thursday 6th June

 

External Third-Party Events

These are events such as fairs, festivals and circuses that hire our venues, but are not Town Council Events, although we work closely with organisers.

Hatwell’s May Fair – Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th May 2024

Welcoming back the ever-popular Hatwell’s May Fair to the Leys – a wonderful event for all ages!

 

Witney Pride – Saturday 25th May 2024

The day will start with a procession through town followed by a family fun day on the Leys, all welcome.

 

Witney Music Festival – Friday 7th  to Saturday 8th June 2024

The best in local musical talent, ran with support from Witney Town Council.

 

Witney Carnival – Saturday 13th July 2024

Starting with a float procession around town, followed by events and entertainment on the Leys.

 

Witney Feast –  Monday 16th to Tuesday 17th September 2024

A yearly funfair held on the Leys.

 

OPA Playday – Thursday 1st  August 2024

The ever-popular free event held for the children of Witney. No need to book – just turn up and have fun.

Open Mic 

Regular open mic sessions held first Thursday of every month, 19:00 to 22:00. All ages and experience welcome, no need to book. PA system provided.

 

Witney Jazz

Witney’s best jazz club, first Friday of every month with an excellent range of different jazz styles in a relaxed and professional venue. Tickets available here.

 

Corn Exchange Film Club

From February 2024, first and third Tuesday of every month is a chant to catch a classic film in the Corn Exchange on our new big screen. Detail and tickets available here.
