Part-time Early Morning Cleaner
We are looking to hire a part-time early morning cleaner to clean Witney’s public halls: the Corn Exchange, Café/Bar 1863 and Burwell Hall.
A background in cleaning is preferred but is not essential as full training will be given. What is important is a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and an ability to complete work to a high standard. Additional hours may be available to help provide holiday and sickness cover, as and when required.
Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 2-3 hours per day, between 6am and 9am
Responsibilities:
– Perform commercial cleaning tasks for a busy Public Venue
– Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
– Dust and wipe down surfaces
– Clean and sanitize toilets
– Empty bins and replace liners
– Restock supplies as needed
– Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Experience:
– Previous experience in cleaning venues and offices is preferred
– Ability to work independently or and efficiently
– Knowledge of different cleaning techniques and products/COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
– Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers
– Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks

Salary: £12 per hour
Expected hours: 6 to 10 hours per week
